A mum of two, wife and qualified Children's Social Worker in the UK - qualified 14 years, with 7 years direct experience supporting parents and children to strengthen their relationships.Yet, even with my professional training and experience and my own inner self work, nothing quite prepared me for how hard some seasons of motherhood would actually feel.I had two under 3, isolated from loved ones and no village around me - I found myself overstimulated, irritable, snappy, angry and going through the motions without much joy. Worried I was doing more harm than good.So I got to work on myself. I started tracking my triggers, identifying the patterns underneath my reactions, tracing their roots, and built what became The Calm Response Method - a framework I created for myself that actually worked.I leaned into slow living and simplified my home and daily life, created rhythms that worked for our family - and everything shifted. For the first time in a long time I could relax, find joy again in the mundane day to day moments with my kids, I could catch myself and respond more calmly, I finally felt lighter and able to pick back up old interests - at long last I felt reconnected with myself. That's why I believe in taking a holistic approach when working with muns - that involves working on the internal and external. Healing what's underneath your reactions, coupled with practical tools, while also simplifying your life. That's how I believe real calm and contentment within ourselves as mums becomes possible. And now I help mums experiencing something similar do the same. Respond more calmly, live more intentionally and get back to genuinely enjoying their kids and motherhood - without the constant stress and overwhelm.

Is this therapy?
No. The Parenting Reset Hour is a coaching session drawing on my 14 years of social work expertise and lived experience as a mother. It is not a substitute for therapy but can be used alongside therapy. If during our session I feel you need additional therapeutic support I will always signpost you appropriately.
What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?
Therapy typically explores the past in depth to process and heal psychological wounds — it is usually longer term and delivered by a licensed therapist or counsellor. The Parenting Reset Hour is more present and future focused — we look at what’s happening now, identify patterns, and create practical tools and a clear plan for moving forward.
That said, drawing on my social work background I may gently explore what could be at the root of your reactions during our session. If anything comes up that suggests deeper therapeutic work would benefit you, I will always name it honestly and encourage you to explore that with an appropriate professional. You’ll never leave our session without a clear sense of your next step — whether that’s using the tools we create together or seeking additional support.
What if I’m not sure it’s right for me?
That’s exactly what the application is for. Apply and I’ll review it personally and let you know honestly whether this session is the right fit for where you are right now.
What happens after I apply?
You’ll hear back from me personally within 48 hours. If it’s a good fit I’ll send you a booking link to choose your time and pay securely.
How long is the session?
The session is 60 minutes via video call on Zoom.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. Just come as you are and be ready to have an honest conversation.
Can I get a refund?
Once the session has taken place refunds aren’t available. However if after reviewing your application I don’t feel I can genuinely help you, I won’t accept it — so you’ll never pay for something that isn’t right for you.
What is your stance on punishment?
I don’t use or promote punishment such as hitting, smacking, sibling comparisons, yelling or shaming as tools for managing children’s behaviour. My approach focuses on teaching children appropriate consequences in a way that is suited to their age and development — helping them understand cause and effect rather than fear-based compliance. If you’re looking for someone to help you shout less and teach more, you’re in the right place.
What is your parenting approach?
My approach is rooted in respectful parenting — treating children with genuine respect, love and care while holding healthy boundaries. The focus of my work is always on the parent first. I believe that when we change our own awareness, behaviour and connection with our child, our child’s behaviour shifts naturally as a result. I never focus on blaming the child — because in my experience the most powerful and lasting change happens when the parent understands themselves better and regulates themselves first. Because when we are calmer, more aware, more confident in our mothering role and steady emotionally, our children feel safer, more secure and behave differently in response.
Can I book multiple sessions?
Yes. If after your first session you’d like to continue working together we can discuss what ongoing support looks like for you. Each session is booked individually so there’s no pressure to commit to anything upfront. One session at a time, at your own pace.
